Being in the lower half of the draft can seem like a downer, however the potential for a deadly duo skyrockets sitting in this position. Here's the breakdown for what your team could look like if you're sitting with the number 9 pick.

These mock teams are based off of a 10-team PPR league, with a snake draft. These mock drafts cover the first 10 picks of the draft.
MY TEAM: PICK NINE (QB STRONG)
  • 1. Todd Gurley (RB) 9th Overall
  • 2. Jordy Nelson (WR) 12th overall
  • 3. Lesean McCoy (RB) 29th overall
  • 4. Mike Evans (WR) 32nd overall
  • 5. Drew Brees (QB) 49th overall
  • 6. Dante Montcrief (WR) 52nd overall
  • 7. Delanie Walker (WR) 69th overall
  • 8. Ladarius Green (TE) 72nd overall
  • 9. Arian Foster (RB) 89th overall
  • 10. Legarrette Blount (RB) 92nd overall
TEAM NOTES:
I believe Gurley at pick #9 is the exact right position for him in a QB strong league.
JORDY IS BACK. Don't forget about him. He's poised for a breakout season teamed back up with his partner in crime, Aaron Rodgers.
Don't be a sucker. Drew Brees will not have a solid season, not because of his talent necessarily, but because of the lack of talent around him.
In the 9th round, taking a flyer on Arian Foster is a steal. He's a solid back up, with potential to take over the RB2 slot.

MY TEAM: PICK NINE (QB WEAK)
  • 1. Dez Bryant (WR) 9th overall
  • 2. Jamaal Charles (RB) 12th overall
  • 3. Aaron Rodgers (QB) 29th overall
  • 4. Jarvis Landry (WR) 32nd overall
  • 5. Doug Baldwin (WR) 49th overall
  • 6. Giovanni Bernard (RB) 52nd overall
  • 7. Duke Johnson (RB) 69th overall
  • 8. Tyler Lockett (WR) 72nd overall
  • 9. Antonio Gates (TE) 89th overall
  • 10. Rashad Jennings (RB) 92nd overall
TEAM NOTES
I have a strong feeling that Dez will lead all WR in TDs this year.
I'm starting to question if Jamaal Charles is healthy, still on the PUP list, and if he will get the workload he get before the ACL injury last year. As a 2nd round pick I'm willing to take a chance he is a top RB again.
Don't expect Baldwin to have his crazy TD rate as he did at the end of last year but he should still be a decent flex play.
Bernard and Johnson are similar players and both are decent RB2s in PPR league.
Antonio Gates is old and slow but the guy has missed 1 game because of injury the last 3 years. Rivers loves Gates and he should put up at least 8 TDs this year.
